It’s been ages since I did one of these random tag posts, and I ran out of my backlog of post ideas, so this tag came to my rescue. It was high time for a casual talk-about-characters post anyway. 😉
Thank you Catwing for tagging me for the ‘voted most likely’ tag!
The idea is simple, as far as I can gather. I pick random characters who would be most likely to fit with each thing. And just to make it more fun, I’m not going to use the same character twice.
I’ll also make aesthetics for all of the characters, because I will take any excuse. 😂 (All images from pinterest.)
Let’s get right into it!
Most Likely to Be a Poet
Prince Kal (PRINCE). He is probably one of the few characters who would ever consider himself a poet. Unfortunately he’d also be The Worst Poet Ever. See below, one of his finest works:
I’m being chased by a dragon again(g)
I don’t think I need to say anything else. 😛
Most Likely to Dance in the Rain
Michayla Elodie-Glyn (A Sprig of Green). She actually does dance in the rain in the book, so this isn’t even a slight stretch of imagination. She’s the sort of mystical, dreamer personality who glories in nature and the beauty of the outdoors, so this is definitely her thing.
Most Likely to Look Good in a Kilt
As soon as I saw this question, I knew the answer instantly. Benjamin Kit (Rogue Agent) is 100% the man for this. He’s the kind of guy who can pull off any look and still somehow look great, and no one knows how he manages it.
Most Likely to Get Punched in the Face
Akio Hirai (Unwritten Japanese Fantasy) has a long line of people who would love to punch him in the face. His personality is often hard to get along with.
What can I say? He likes arguing and doesn’t like apologising.
Most Likely to Drop Everything and Become a Sheep Herder
Dane Stipp (PRINCE) would probably love a chance at a quiet, peaceful shepherd’s life. Unfortunately he became manservant to a stuck-up prince (*cough* Prince Kal), and kind of got roped into a lot of chaos. He grew to like the stuck-up prince though, and I’m not sure he’d be able to stay a shepherd for long without checking in to make sure Prince Kal was still surviving without him. 😉
Most Likely to Be Found in the Library
Dylan Skeet (Powerless) would be hiding out in the graphic novels section, devouring every book about superheroes ever.
When trying to answer this question, I realised the incredibly sad fact that not a lot of my characters enjoy reading. Either they live in a culture/situation that prevents it, or they simply don’t enjoy it all that much. What is this scandal? I need to invent a new gang of characters who just read all the time.
Most Likely to Sleep Through an Earthquake
This was surprisingly hard to answer, because I don’t have many characters that are renowned for their heavy sleeping. However, Roxanne Wilde (Falling Sun) will take this one. If she had a late night party with her pals the night before, she probably wouldn’t notice if the whole planet split open under her.
Most Likely to Steal Food from Other Peoples’ Plates
Undoubtedly, Thomas Kanter (The Adventures of Lando Erif). He has no shame in nicking food from other peoples’ plates.
Neither do I, but I couldn’t use myself, so he was the next best choice. 😅
Most Likely to Cheat on a Test
Braden Dan-Argo (A Sprig of Green) is a test-cheater. Not proud of it, but he’s definitely done it many times. Most of his cheating involved blackmailing a ‘friend’ to help him, but he failed most of them anyway, despite his greatest attempts.
Most Likely to Say “Oops” After Setting Something on Fire
Lando Erif (The Adventures of Lando Erif) is my middle grade character who can breathe fire. I’m pretty sure there have been times when he’s said ‘oops’ after burning down his house, or something along those lines. 😂
It’s definitely a mental image that fits with his personality.
Most Likely to Open an Orphanage
Gwen Zephyr (A Sprig of Green) would definitely open an orphanage. I can’t explain why though, because that would be spoilers. 😛
Most Likely to Run off with the Circus
I have a character who actually does go and join a circus, but that book is unwritten and currently Top Secret, so that’s all the information I’ll spill.
Most Likely to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
William Escarlate (Rogue Agent) can survive almost anything. He’s tough, he’s talented, he’s very self reliant. He could definitely survive the apocalypse.
Most Likely to Fake Their Own Death
I’m almost certain that Tain Fernard (Rogue Agent) has faked his own death before, and he would willingly do it again if need be.
Most Likely to Die and Haunt Their Friends
This question could be interpreted multiple ways. Either as a literal ghost haunting, or as an unforgettable memory sort of haunting.
Ashal (Falling Sun) would haunt his friends, but it would be a good, happy, inspiring sort of ‘haunting’ and not a literal ghost. Just the memory, because he’s not easily forgotten.
And that brings us to the end! That was actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I could’ve answered Ben (see Kilt question) for over half of them, but it was more interesting to try and find different characters each time.
I’d love to see everyone’s answers to these questions, so if you want to, please steal this tag and drop the link to your post in the comments! Or you could just pick a few questions and answer them in the comments anyway, because it’s so much fun, guys! 😀 Thank you again to Catwing for tagging me. It was a blast.
Chat with me! Which of your characters would wear a kilt and look good in it? Do you have lots of bookworm characters?
