I don’t normally do book hauls because I don’t normally get all that many books per month. Often, I don’t get one new book every month, so basically: it’d get pretty boring pretty quickly.

Today is an exception. Because all! the! books!! 😍 This month has been pretty bookish, between birthday gifts, books I bought with birthday money, a 2nd hand book fair, and ARCs from the author/publishers! So I’m going to let you admire all the bookish goodies while I try work out how to fit another bookshelf in my room because I’m rapidly running out of room. πŸ™ˆ

The Selection, The One, The Heir

Kiera Cass

My sister actually found these for me at the 2nd hand book fair, because I read her copies of them a few weeks ago. I promptly adopted them, because whoΒ doesn’t want their own copy of a series on their bookshelf?? And for fifty cents each, it’s almost irresistible.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

J.K. Rowling

I…already own this. My sole reason for picking it up at the book fair was the pretty cover. πŸ™ˆ

But just look at that purple cover!

Catherine Jones Payne

I’ve been wanting to read this for an AGE. The cover is designed by my favourite cover artist ever (Kirk DouPonce at Dogeared Design) and it’s so BEAUTIFUL. This book is all about mermaids, murder, and mayhem, so you can bet I’m 100% here for it.

I finally bought an ebook of this with some birthday money and I can’t wait to reeaad!

Angel Eyes trilogy

Shannon Dittemore

I’m still in shock that I stumbled across this entire trilogy at the book fair. In an obscure Aussie town very lacking in good 2nd hand YA books. This. never. happens.

Except apparently it does now. 😱

This has been on my subconscious TBR for so long, I forget about it most of the time, but as soon as I saw this trilogy in the middle of boxes of boring adult books, I snatched it up instantly and may or may not have squealed a little bit too. πŸ˜›

K.M. Weiland

I grabbed this one with some birthday money too and it was soooo good. Go read my fangirl spiel about it. 😏

Ender’s Game

Orson Scott Card

I almost missed this at the book fair, but it’s also been on my TBR for ages so I kidnapped (adopted) it too. It has all the sci fi vibes, and while I admit that I know almost nothing about the plot, it has Harrison Ford on the front cover, so that’s a good sign, right? πŸ˜‚

Sara Ella

I most definitely squealed when I heard that I was getting a PHYSICAL ARC of this beautiful book sent all the way to me. Normally non-US means e-ARCs only, but not this time, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!!

There were some postage issues and delays and the book went to Hawaii for a short holiday before finally arriving to me. But by that point, Thomas Nelson had already posted me a second ARC, so now I have two. 😍 (Although, I’m giving the second one away soon, because I want to spread this amazing story everywhere!)

I’ll have a review of this on the blog at some point, but for now I will say that it was an absolutely amazing story. So raw and hard, but so deep and soul-touching. πŸ’•

To Best the Boys

Mary Weber

To Best the Boys was a birthday gift and I’m so happy to finally a hardcopy to admire on my bookshelf! And to throw at friends so they read it! And to take photos of forevermore! 😍

I might have to reread this now that I have something more than the e-ARC I got earlier in the year.

A Whole New World

Liz Braswell

My amazing friend gave me this for my birthday and I’m so intrigued! I love Aladdin, and this sounds really interesting just after reading the back cover blurb! Fingers crossed that the insides are as good.

The Story Raider

Lindsay A. Franklin

THIS BOOK. *screams forever*

I was soooo happy to get an e-ARC for this, because I’ve been hanging for it ever since I read The Story Peddler (also as an e-ARC 😊). It was SO. GOOD. So swashbuckling and breathtaking and pure epic in so many ways.

My pre-order hasn’t arrived yet so guess who’s back to stalking the mailbox again?

Mark of the Raven

Morgan L. Busse

I’ve been wanting this book since before it released last year, and now it’s finally in my haaaaandssss. 😍

With all these amazing books at my fingertips, I have no idea how I’ll ever choose what to read next. The struggles of a bookworm.

Life After

Julie G. Hall

I got this ebook ‘box set’ as a gift for helping out with Julie Hall’s promo tour! I take a photo and get a book in exchange: YES PLEASE.

I actually started the first book in this series when I first got it in mid-July, but then so many other books distracted me and I feel sorry for it, lost in the middle of this bookish whirlwind. πŸ˜›

And I think that’s about all the books I got in the last month! So many new bookish babies and so little time to read. 😬 The struggle is real, guys.

Come chat with me!! What books are on your book haul for July? Do you also need a new bookshelf to fit your books on? πŸ˜›
